The Kootenay Boundary Regional RCMP in Nelson are seeking the public assistance in locating missing person, Lemar Halimi.

Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said in a media release, Lemar Halimi of Richmond, BC was last seen in the Nelson area on May 15, 2017.

Moskaluk said the 22-year-old Halimi had been in the Nelson area for a few days and has not been heard from since Monday, May 15th.

RCMP is asking travelers and area users to be on the lookout for Deirdre, a seven-month-old black Mastiff dog lost following a single vehicle roll over collision on Wednesday, near Revelstoke.

Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said in a media release the dog was a passenger in a vehicle involved in the accident.

Two West Kootenay residents are facing charges for trafficking after Nelson Police found drugs in a vehicle during the execution of a traffic stop in the downtown core Tuesday (March 28) Sergeant Dino Falcone said in a media release Thursday.
