The Nelson company that developed the popular Matrix multiple listing service platform used by 17 MLS service’s across North America has been sold.

One hundred per cent of Tarasoft Corp. was sold Sept. 15 to real estate information and analytics provider CoreLogic for an undisclosed price.

The Boundary region’s emergency cold weather shelter is preparing for its second season of operations and will open on schedule to welcome people Nov. 1.
Operated by the Boundary Emergency and Transition Housing Society (BETHS), the shelter is calling for help from new volunteers and donors as it gets organized for the coming winter season.

Nelson’s favourite ski destination now has a twin across the U.S. border.

Whitewater Ski Resort recently adopted Schweitzer Mountain Resort — located in the rugged Selkirk Mountains of the northern Idaho panhandle — as its sister resort.

Pass holders at each resort will now receive discounts at their sister mountain.
