Castlegar wowed by Winterfest

Winterfest 2009 drew more than 600 people to Castlegar’s Spirit Square last Friday for the Parade of Lights, visits with Santa, storytime at City Hall and more.

Kids sang Christmas tunes karaoke style, local non-profits offered booths with refreshments, fire-spinners got the crowd heated up … and the Christmas season is now officially upon us.
