A 26-year-old Trail man is behind bars with a laundry list of charges, according to Trail Acting Sgt. Devon Reid.

He said the charges stem from four separate incidents that occurred over the course of two days.

“He’s charged with Arson, Uttering Threats, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, and Break-and-Enter,” Reid said.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man remains in police custody after being arrested in connection with a rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles.

Slated to appear in court Tuesday, the man now has a court date Thursday, as police are recommending additional charges against him (Breach of Recognizance), on top of the charges of the initial Possession of Stolen Property, Theft of a Credit Card, Use of a stolen Credit Card and Theft Under $5,000.

Neither man’s name will be released until official charges have been sworn by the Crown.
