U12 soccer girls brought home the gold from Revelstoke. Girls from Castlegar, Beaver Valley, Trail, and Rossland combined their efforts as the U12 Rep Team and were victorious in four games; winning 4-0,6-0,3-0 and 2-1 in the Sept. 12 tournament.

The Castlegar Rebels took back some of their own last weekend after road trips the week before ended in disappointment.


The weekend started off well in Spokane on Sept. 13, when the Rebels stole a win right out from under the Braves, taking the game 5-4 in over time.


Rebels head coach and general manager Brent Heaven said the win was no sure thing.
