RCMP East Kootenay Traffic Services said a Slocan Valley man died Thursday following a head-on collision on Highway 3 north of Hosmer, BC.

A 47-year-old Slocan man has been killed in a collision near Hosmer, according to RCMP Cpl. Ryan C. Bacica.

The search for a 10-year-old boy who was believed to have gone into the water with a vehicle near Halcyon Hot Springs on Dec. 27, has been concluded, according to RCMP Sgt. Monty Taylor.
