You are cordially invited to attend an information meeting on Feb. 9 at the Castlegar Community Complex- Kootenay Room, to hear about the formation of a KidSport Castlegar community chapter.

KidSport™ is the charitable arm of Sport BC and since 1993 has been providing grants to assist with the costs of sport registration fees for financially disadvantaged children in British Columbia. KidSport™ assists over 3,500 BC kids annually to get in the game. Through a network of 28 community based chapters with the assistance of the provincial chapter, KidSport™ strives to ensure that no child is left on the sidelines because of financial limitations.

With the kind assistance of Castlegar Parks and Recreation and MLA Katrina Conroy, Pete Quevillon, the director of KidSport™ BC, will be presenting the KidSport community chapter concept and an overview of KidSport™ at this information meeting.

Please feel free to extend this invitation to anyone who you feel might be interested in getting involved with this very worthwhile cause.

For further information on KidSport™, please visit the national website at www.kidsportcanada.ca

You can also email Pete Quevillon directly at pete.quevillon@sport.bc.ca or call him at 604-333-3430 for more information
