UPDATE: Missing Castlegar woman found, safe and sound
“The Castlegar RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 50-year-old female reported missing on June 19, 2020 has been located, and she is safe and sound, ” said RCMP Sgt. Monty Taylor.

An extensive search continues for a local woman who went missing earlier this week, and police are now asking for public assistance, according to RCMP Sgt. Monty Taylor.
“On June 19, 50-year-old Teresa Priebe was reported missing to Castlegar RCMP. Her family last saw Priebe on June 17 near Upper Gibson Road, Pass Creek north of Castlegar, BC.
“There is nothing to indicate foul play at this time. Police and Teresa’s family are very concerned for her health and well-being as it is out of character for her to be out of contact for so long.”
Teresa Priebe is described as:
· a Caucasian female;
· 50 years;
· 5′ 7″ (170 cm) tall
· 170 lbs (77 kgs)
· Brown hair
· Brown eyes
