Nelson man in single-vehicle roll-over near Rossland
On Jan. 23, at 10:11 a.m., Trail and Greater District RCMP responded to a complaint of a single motor vehicle incident on Hwy 3B roughly 3 km from the Nancy Green Junction, near Rossland, according to Trail RCMP Sgt Mike Wicentowich.
“The 24-year-old Nelson man was driving a 1994 Toyota Corolla when the vehicle hit a patch of ice and slid out of control as he had overcorrected into the icy skid,” Wicentowich said. “The vehicle flipped onto its roof and slid to a stop on the roadway.”
The man was not injured, and the vehicle was towed from the scene of the incident
