A 25-year old Qualicum Beach man has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

As of Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, 84.3% (3,908,860) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 76.5% (3,547,751) received their second dose.

In addition, 85.0% (3,676,744) of all eligible adults in B.C. have received their first dose and 77.6% (3,355,134) received their second dose.

On Aug. 28 at approximately 5 p.m., the Castlegar RCMP received notification that a SOS activation was made on a satellite emergency notification device that was registered to a 60-year-old Trail resident.
