Arrow Flow Change Notification for Aug. 20 - 21

BC Hydro would like to notify the public that the discharge rates from Arrow Lakes Reservoir will decrease noticeably on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21:
• At 6 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, flows will decrease from 2,704 m3/s to 2,563 m3/s.
• At 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, flows will decrease from 2,563 m3/s to 2,421 m3/s.
• At 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, flows will decrease from 2,421 m3/s to 2,280 m3/s.
• At 7 a.m. on Sunday, August 21, flows will decrease from 2,280 m3/s to 2,195 m3/s.
When combined with the outflows from the Kootenay River, Columbia River levels at Birchbank are expected to decrease by 0.96 metres (3.1 feet). Please make safety your top priority when planning activities near the Columbia River.
