Communications Planning for Non-Profits

This workshop is for small non-profits that don’t have the resources to build and maintain measurable communications programs. It will support you in clearly articulating your organization’s key messages as defined by your vision, mission, and values. It will help identify key audiences and explore effective ways to reach them through earned and paid media and events. And it will support you to draft a plan that allocates resources effectively.

Where: Trail Campus, Selkirk College

When: Wednesday, May 11th 1pm-4pm PT

Social Media Storytelling for Non-Profits

Social media can be a powerful tool for expressing a non-profit’s story and generating awareness and support for its cause. This workshop can help your non-profit tell a compelling story using multiple social media platforms. It will explore how emotions drive action, how to reach a target audience, and how to identify strategies for tracking metrics and measuring which have the most impact.

Where: Trail Campus, Selkirk College

When: Tuesday, June 7th from 6 – 9pm PT
