Castlegar man sought by police; public assistance requested

Police are aking members of the public to contact RCMP with any information tehy may have about the whereabouts of a Castlegar man who is now ‘on the lamb’.

Forty-year-old Castlegar man Glen Boule is wanted by police after failing to attend his court appearance this week, when he was slated to face charges of production of controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and theft of telecommunications. The charges stem from a search warrant executed in Castlegar on Sept. 3, 2010, in which police found “a sophisitcated marijuana growing operation and … 1,058 marijuana plants,” according to RCMP Sgt. Laurel Mathew.

A warrant has now been issued for Boule, who is described as Causcasion, wih a star tattoo on the right side of his neck and tattoos onthe top side of his left hand. He is 5’9″, 155 pounds, has blue eyes, and was last seen sporting a full beard.
