Bored this summer?  The Castlegar Complex and Robson Community School are running Summer Cool Camps again this year! The day camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday and are for children ages six – 12. The cost of the camps is $98 per week.  This week (July 18 – 22) is the last week at the Robson Community School location, but next week the camps will continue at the Castlegar Complex for three more weeks of camps.   July 25 to 29 is Super Soaker week, when the campers can look forward to a giant water fight, water relays and a trip to the pool.   August 2 – 5 is Mad Scientist week, when kids will do lots of experiments, group games and exploding volcanoes.  August 8 – 12 is Olympics-themed and they will get to play lots of team games including human foosball, obstacle courses and sport themed crafts! Every week the kids can expect a chance on the 75-foot slip n’ slide, as well as an ice cream SUN day.  You can register for the camps at the Castlegar Community Complex (250-365-3386) or online at the RDCK website. Subsidies for the camps are still available by contacting Laurie Watson at 250-304-5008. So what are YOU doing this summer?!!
