A good news fishing story

This is the big one that did not get away.

Mike Thompson of Split Shot Charters was all smiles after landing this 24-pound Rainbow Trout on Kootenay Lake near Balfour.

Thomson caught the Rainbow last month during a 30-minute fight.

To date, Thompson & Split Shot have landed more than 18 fish close to the 20-pound weight.
