Alleged drunk driver ploughs into Tim's
An motor vehicle accident at Tim Horton’s Saturday caused significant damage, according to RCMP Sgt. Laurel Mathew.
“On Oct. 12, at approximately 3 a.m., staff at the Castlegar Tim Horton’s called RCMP to report that a vehicle had just knocked the large drive-through sign off the pedestal causing substantial damage, and that the vehicle was still in the drive-through,” Mathew said.
“RCMP officers attended and located the driver, a 62-year-old Sicamous man,” she said adding that he now faces charges of impaired driving and driving while over.08 and will appear in court in December.
