Clara's Big Ride

Olympian Clara Hughes will ride into Nelson Saturday, May 24 as part of Clara’s Big Ride for Bell Let’s Talk.
Nelson’s Kootenay Lake Tourism is doing its best to fill the streets and has created a U-Tube video to help encourage Nelsonites to get out and support Clara’s cause.
The two-time Olympian Clara Hughes rides into the Heritage City on Day the 110 of the 12,000 km journey around Canada to help raise awareness and action for mental health and help end the stigma around mental illness.
And all of Nelson and area is invited to welcome Hughes in the afternoon downtown or at a more formal event in the evening.
