RCMP report missing woman located in Slocan Valley

New Denver RCMP are happy to report that a missing woman has been located safe in the Slocan Valley.
Andrea Moore, 36, was located Friday at approximately 2:45 p.m. at a residence almost four kilometers from her abandoned vehicle near the Perry Ridge Road.
Moore appeared disoriented and was transported to Kootenay Lake Hospital for observation.
RCMP have not yet had an opportunity to interview Moore to ascertain exactly what happened.
Moore, also known as Andromeda Moore, was reported missing by her husband Thursday.
Moore’s vehicle was located on Perry Ridge Road abandoned the previous day. Castlegar Search and Rescue, the police service dog and a helicopter were involved in the search.
RCMP would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in the search and for the media coverage this has generated.
