The 1st Annual Doxie Fun Fest was a rainy one, but that didn’t stop the hounds from gathering and having fun Saturday, Sept 17 at Gyro Park in Trail.

There was a total of 25 Doxie’s with their proud owners join together for Wiener racing and contests.  This event was a great success in raising donations for the SPCA.

Doxie Fun Fest was celebrated by some of the cutest and funniest hounds around.

Congrats to the following Doxie contest winners.

The oldest Doxie was Riley at age 14 years.  The youngest Doxie was Lexi, who only beat Sophia by less than two weeks (having two Doxies aged four months was so great to see!).

The smallest Doxie was Frankie at approx. 8lbs.  The largest Doxie was Bentley at 25 pounds.  The best dressed costume Doxie was Lewis who dressed up as a Cow, udderly hilarious!  Lastly, after much ado about racing, it was Cooper who came first in the Wiener races, just a hairs length faster than Auzie… what a race!

There is even a Facebook Group account for all Doxies in the area to connect and share their times spent at the event and to continue with conversations for upcoming annual events.

Join us at our FB Group account titled, Doxie Fun Fest and we will see you there!
