A 39-year-old Castlegar woman was transported to hospital and subsequently released after an MVI in Trail yesterday, according to RCMP Sgt. Darren Oelke.

“A female was driving on Second Avenue and clipped a parked car, causing her vehicle to overturn and then slide on its roof into an oncoming vehicle,” Oelke said, adding the call came in at 6:07 p.m.

He said the other driver was uninjured.

The woman was issued a violation ticket for driving with undue care and attention.
