Election candidates reply to questionaire from Parks and Trails Society
The Castlegar Parks and Trails Society has issued a questionaire for local candidates runnning in the upcoming civic election, and has published the responses online for the community to read at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H2X4LTMgsu23clQZC0EslsJYZ2T9754_yLtY6pAqLXQ/edit?usp=sharing
In an emailed press release issued today, the organization`s president said the questionaires were sent out Sept. 20, and candidates were asked to reply by Oct. 5.
“Responses are listed in the order we received them,” said the release. “The response are preceded with their first name and last Initials. One mayoral and seven council candidates completed the questionnaire. One mayoral candidate, two council candidates and one RDCK director candidate responded with a statement. Those statements in response to the questionnaire have been put into question five, which is the section for additional comments.”
The Castlegar Parks and Trail Society (CPTS) is a non-profit charitable, volunteer organization that maintains and builds trails for hiking and biking in the Castlegar area for non-motorized use.
