Free Family Day Swim and Skate at Complex - come be an Aqua Ninja Warrior and beat the life guards at their own game!

Get your Ninja on this Family Day with FREE fun at the Complex!
The rec commission, RDCK and Areas I and J have sponsored a free swim and skate at the Complex Monday from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m., (the gym is not included, but will also be open those hours).
In the pool, families will find the WIBIT, which is basically an inflatable obstacle course complete with slides, according to recreation coordinatorAudrey Maxwell Polovnikoff.
"It's designed for ages 7+," she explained. "We'll be having our Aqua Ninja Warrior Competition – residents againsts the lifeguards – and adults are allowed on the WIBIT, too, so if you're up for a challenge, bring it on!"
Skate rentals will be on hand for $3 and helmet rentals for $1.
Perhaps more important to many parents, the hot tub is included in the free admission.
"Baby it's cold outside … so come on in and get warm!"
Maxwell Polovnikoff said this is exactly the kind of event the Complex loves the best.
"Our mandate is to build a healthy, inclusive community, and our sponsors have provided us an opportunity to do just that."
