Selkirk College will be (virtually) welcoming Canadian author and activist Seth Klein to a Mir Lecture Series event on November 30. The Vancouver-based climate academic and author of the recently released A Good War: Mobilizing Canada for the Climate Emergency takes an approach that is not doom-and-gloom. Says Mir Centre for Peace chair Jennie Barron:

“This will not be another litany of everything that’s going wrong, but a vision of a way through the crisis. Klein has decades of experience as a researcher, policy expert and activist. He brings both expertise and a warm, engaging speaking style.”

The attached poster and photo provides more information about Klein’s background and details about the upcoming event. We hope you find this something to share with your audience.

There is contact information contained in the release, but if you require any further assistance, please feel free to email me!

Tickets are on Eventbrite here.
