DIY Comedy Tour coming to Chances Castlegar Dec. 2

The DIY Comedy Tour is a collective of three Canadian stand-up comedians Scott Porteous, Frank Russo and Mike Payne. They have toured most of Canada in 2023 including Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and are heading to the East Coast early in 2024. Having three home provinces helps! Scott, Frank and Mike are based in Winnipeg, Calgary and Toronto respectively.
Their comedic styles are also just as varied. Scott Porteous aka Herbet Henries, Comedy Dangerist has an act that is split into two parts; Scott does self-reflective, punchy and relatable material while Herbert performs “acts of danger” creating an unforgettable experience. Frank Russo uses observational humour to explore the mundane and propel it to absurdity. Mike Payne is a larger-than-life comedic presence that is irrefutably hilarious. Mike is shockingly memorable!
Between them they have played Canada’s Got Talent, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The World Series of Comedy, The Sudbury LOL Festival, The Cottage Country Comedy Festival and The Dirty Bird Comedy Festival.
That combination of raw comedic talent makes for a unique and hilarious show, sure to make you and yours laugh their butts-off!
