North America’s finest burlesque performers come together for a night of frisky fun

Trail Arts Council and Déjà Louve invite you to celebrate the joy, laughter and skepticism attached to the Valentine Season, with all kinds of vaudeville debauchery at Love Bites: A Valentine’s Burlesque Variety Show on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in The Bailey Theatre!

Want a fun night out with your besties? Or looking for something different and sexy  to do for Valentines? Love Bites is the show that will tease, treat and make you laugh.

Coming back to Trail, all the way from New Orleans, is Honey Badger of Burlesque JEEZ LOUEEZ, Voted #1 Burlesque Performer in the World multiple times. In 2023 she was crowned the Reigning Queen of the Tease in New Orleans and as an emcee she seamlessly blends high camp, low brow, and relatable comedy to keep the crowds on their toes!

Jeez Loueez will be joined by one of the biggest names in burlesque, RedBone. The 2019 ‘Princess of Burlesque’ at The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender in Las Vegas she was also named  the 2016-2023 21st Century Burlesque Magazine Top 50 Most Influential Industry Figures!!

 Joining them are Other Special Guests include Cecil the Sad Clown with a frown known all over town, and Cat Zaddy, who weaves in her experiences in pole dance, afro, and samba for a high energy musical performance.

Plus, performing as a duet, are Ivory & Belle Jumelles, two Toronto powerhouse performers who are united on a mission of body acceptance and self love.

We’ll also see Trail’s own Guido La Bido, taking to the stage in their hometown for the first time in 38 years! So come one come all to witness the Italian Stallion with a heart of gold and huge libido croon a little tune for you.

Artistic Director, Nadine Tremblay, says “We don’t get a ton of Burlesque at the Bailey and so, we are so lucky to have all this talent in the room for one special night. Thanks to Déjà Louve, we get all these fabulous artists from across North America, and the best from the region, all in one place for a few days. Whether it’s an early Valentine’s gift or girls night out, you won’t want to miss this rare and super fun experience.”

Want to learn new skills while having fun? Join any of our 3 workshops. Pull out your finest rhinestone and denim vest and strap on yer boots as Jeez Loueez guides you through Line Dancing basics such as the two-step, the coybabe cha cha, and honkey tonk hustle on Wednesday, February 5 from 7:30pm to 9pm at The Arlington Bar and Grill. No experience needed.

Then on  Thursdsay, February 6 we have two very different workshops to choose from in The Griff at The Bailey Theatre. From 6 pm to 7:30 pm we have Intro to Clowning: Let’s Play Workshop where Rex The Impossible will help you tap into your deeper feelings and develop previously unexplored characters.

Then from 7:30 to 9 p.m. we have Reclaiming Your Erotic Burlesque Dance Workshop with RedBone where you will use contemporary Hip-Hop inspired choreography to connect the spiritual, physical & emotional to Reclaim Your Erotic.
