City of Trail welcomes new General Manager of Municipal Services
The City of Trail is pleased to announce the appointment of Jared Miner to the new position of General Manager of Municipal Services. Jared brings over 15 years of leadership, engineering and project management experience, making him exceptionally well-equipped to lead the city’s people and projects.
“I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to bring my leadership, technical expertise and collaborative approach to the City of Trail,” said Jared. “I look forward to leading the city’s municipal services efforts, while promoting both efficiency and high-quality delivery.”

Jared has managed cross-functional teams to successfully execute projects and initiatives for water sustainability and environmental remediation. Ensuring projects aligned with both business objectives and long-term sustainability. This experience directly aligns with his new role, where he will advance priority areas including:
- utility infrastructure, climate change, sustainable development, community resilience, and livability; and
- cultivating an inclusive and respectful work environment.
