Edit to Drowning at Christina Lake

On Aug. 22, at approximately 6:29 p.m., Emergency Health Services requested RCMP assistance for a reported drowning at Shulli Park beach, 1865 Bakery Frontage Road, Christina Lake, according to RCMP Cpl. James Grandy. He said bystanders and first responders provided CPR and the patient was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The BC Coroners Service has been notified and is conducting a concurrent investigation.
