TARANKO, Alexander (Alex) August 2, 1923 – January 17, 2018

Alex Taranko passed on January 17, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife Jean and son Barry. He is survived by his son Barton (Bart), granddaughters Jaimee and Shawna and sister Anne.
Alex was a quiet, gentle man with a huge heart that touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed by all friends and family.
A very special thank you to the staff of Castlewood Village and Castleview Care Center for their compassionate care of this special man.
A cremation has taken place and a celebration of Alex’s life will be announced at a future date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Castlegar Legion fund.
