Woman arrested on outstanding warrants from Castlegar and Salmo
A Trail woman will have her day in court soon, after police arrested her for outstanding warrants issued in Castlegar and Salmo, according to Trail RCMP Const. Sherri Karn.
“On Tuesday, July 6, at 6:24 p.m., an on-duty constable with the Trail and Greater District RCMP located a 29-year-old woman from the Trail area who was known to have outstanding arrest warrants for both Castlegar and Salmo,” Karn said in a press release Wednesday.
“The constable approached the woman and confirmed that the warrants were still valid. She was arrested without incident accordingly for Fraud, Forgery, Identity theft and Impersonation. RCMP officers transported the woman back to Trial RCMP Detachment.
“She was held overnight and released on court documents to appear in Castlegar Court on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 with regards to her charges.”
