Police seek public help with rash of catalytic converter thefts

The Castlegar RCMP are investigating a recent rash of catalytic converters stolen from three separate vehicles between March 29 and April 1, according too RCMP Sgt. Monty Taylor.

”’Two vehicles, one parked on March 29 and the other parked April 1, both had their catalytic converter cut and stolen during the day while parked at the Brilliant Park and Ride in Ooteschenia.  The third vehicle was parked at a business in the 1000 block of Columbia Avenue and had two catalytic converters removed between March 30 and March 31.” .

“Anyone that was parked at the Park & Ride on March 29 or April 1 with dash camera video or other information in related to these offences are asked to contact the Castlegar RCMP at (250)365-7721.””
