MISSING: Police seek help finding Creston man

The Castlegar RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 59-year -old Leo Patrick Remy, according to Sgt. Laurel Mathew.

Remy  was last seen leaving a local hotel on April 1. Remy’s car, a 1996 grey Honda Accord, was located parked at the west end of the Kinnaird Bridge on Monday, April 3. It was first noticed there on Saturday, April 1 by a passerby.

 Remy is described as: a black male, height 5’8”, weight 170 lbs. It is unknown what he was last wearing.

Attached is a photo of Remy. He appears a bit older than this picture depicts, and has shorter hair.

Police and family are concerned for Remy’s wellbeing.

If anyone remembers seeing Remy in the area of the Kinnaird Bridge, or has information regarding his whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Castlegar RCMP at 250-365-7721
