UPDATE: Man arrested in connection with alleged assault at local arena

Trail RCMP Sgt. Mike Wiocentowich said that, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, a 57-year-old Grand Forks man turned himself in to police at the Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment. The man was arrested by an officer for the alleged assault.
A report will be forwarded to Crown Council.

;The man is described as approximately 50-year-old, Caucasian, heavy build, with gray hair and a mustache, and wearing a gray cap, black jacket, and blue jeans,’ Wicentowich said.
“He may have in accompanied by a woman described approximately 50-years-old, Caucasian, with long brown hair, glasses, and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans,” He added.
