Volunteers needed for search

Another ground search for Zachary Larsen is set to begin at 3 p.m. in Millennium Park, after this morning’s search yielded no results.
Marc Savoie, president of the Castlegar Search and Rescue Society, said volunteers are asked to register with the Search and Rescue Command Post, and reminded everyone to dress appropriately for lots of walking in possibly inclement weather.
He said as many as 100 people showed up this morning, and more will search tonight, likely until dark, so volunteers can join in when they’re able.
