Josh Evin, professional skateboarder and owner of Black Russian Skate Shop on Columbia Avenue, died last weekend when his motorcyle struck a guard rail and threw him into the Kootenay Canal, where he drowned.

Services will be held at the Brilliant Cultural Centre from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with the burial in the Brilliant Cemetary on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
