Cool camps for Castlegar kids

The Castlegar & District Recreation Department, The Castlegar and District Youth Centre (A Kootenay Family Place Program) and Robson Community School have partnered up to offer summer “COOL” camps for children ages six to nine and youth ages 10 to 13, with funding from CBT Community Initiatives, Human Resources and Skills Developments Canada and KAST.
Camps run from July 5 to Aug.13, taking place two weeks in each location.
Coordinators Michelle Yule and Kaitlyn Burke, along with leaders Nikki Bell and Colton Simpson (pictured here) are busy gearing up to offer a summer filled with lots of exciting activities.
