RCMP release name of women killed near Crescent Valley

RCMP have released the name of an elderly women killed in a collision near Crescent Valley Thursday afternoon.
Mabel Hadikin, 84, died at the scene when her small import car was struck by a gravel truck near on Highway 6 near Osachoff Road.
RCMP said Hadikin, from the local area, failed to yield as she entered Highway 6 from Osachoff Road and was struck by the gravel truck.
Traffic was tied up on Highway 6 for most of Thursday afternoon.
