RCMP release pictures to help identify theft suspect

The Castlegar RCMP are investigating a theft at the Uptown liquor store and are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect.

On Dec. 22, 2010, at approximately 2:45 p.m., a male suspect was observed on video surveillance stealing a bottle of liquor. The male suspect is described as five-foot-seven, stocky build, brown dark hair with a messy look, wearing a black and grey jacket with ‘Nike’ written on the back, with blue pants and beige boots. “We tried other avenues of identifying the suspect, but have reached a dead end and, are now turning to the public for help,” said Castlegar RCMP Cpl.
