Four arrested in Pass Creek grow-op

Saturday saw four locals, two men and two women, arrested after police raided a grow op in a residence on Lady Bird Creek Forest Service Road in Pass Creek.
Castlegar RCMP Cpl. Darryl Orr said the search warrant was executed at roughly 6 p.m., and the subsequent search yielded 285 marijuana plants and 12 pounds of distribution-ready marijuana bud. He estimated the potential street value of the seizure at around $350,000, not including equipment and paraphernalia that was also seized. The names of the suspects will not be released until their first court appearance.
