Late Sunday afternoon, Nelson Police were called to Lakeside Rotary Park after receiving a call an intoxicated male approaching young girls.

Upon arrival, officers located the 49-year-old suspect in an advanced state of intoxication.

No brotherly love here

Twice last week Nelson Police were called to the 500 block of West Richards Street to deal with two separate incidents.

Wednesday (April 19), officers received a call of two men fighting in the street.

When police arrived they found the brothers fighting and arrested the two for causing a disturbance by fighting. The brothers, 26- and 24-years-old, were released on a Promise to Appear in court June 20.

The next day (Thursday), NPD were called to the same address regarding a landlord/tenant dispute and found the two males breaching their conditions of release.

Both were once again arrested until a court appearance Monday (April 23).
