Police confirm body found is that of woman missing from Quesnel

Quesnel police are confirming news that a body discovered near Williams Lake was that of 59-year-old Susan Jane Durham, of Vernon, who went missing from Quesnel on Nov. 9.
Const. Lesley Smith said Durham was thought to have departed her Quesnel hotel room that morning in her White Ford Explorer, and, “her family and friends were concerned for her well-being, as she left her hotel room without her medication or personal property”.
“RCMP located Durham and her vehicle after receiving a report of White Ford Explorer parked on a rural property outside of Williams Lake,” Smith added. “No foul play is suspected and therefore the BC Coroner Service will be handling this investigation.”
