The Trail Crime Reduction Unit is looking for two local prolific offenders who currently have outstanding warrants from the Rossland Court House, according to RCMP Cpl. Debbie Postnikoff.

“Nelson Crown Counsel has approved charges and issued a warrant for David “Grant” Mack after police received a report from the Trail Hospital on March 21, of a male who had been severely beaten while in his residence,” she said in a press release issued today. “The victim was punched repeatedly while in bed, and attacked with a hammer, suffering facial injuries from the assault. Mack has had an outstanding warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Harm for this incident since April 1.”

Postnikoff said the Trail Crime Reduction Unit is also looking for Darian Thibodeau after his surety revoked the bail deposit on March 24.

“Thibodeau has two outstanding warrants on the following six charges: Use of an Imitation Firearm while Committing an Offence, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Break and Enter, Uttering Threats, and two counts of Breach of Undertaking.”

Any information that the public has about the whereabouts of either individual would be helpful to police. The public is reminded not to approach either person, but to simply call the Trail RCMP Detachment at 250-364-2566 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
