Conservation Officer Service looking for poacher in Creston
The Conservation Officer Service of BC is looking for public assistance to find the suspect in the killing of three mule deer near Creston in October of 2013.
On (Sunday) October 20, 2013 at approximately 8:10 a.m. a witness heard a number of gun shots near Mallory Road on the outskirts of Creston.
After hearing the shots, the witness went to investigate and observed a male dragging a doe across the field.
Further investigation revealed the person left the scene after killing three mule deer out of season.
The witness said the suspect was wearing a camouflage jacket and dark pants and carrying a rifle with a synthetic stock and a blued barrel.
The suspect is described as:
- White male, slightly tanned
- 175 cm (5’10”), 81.6kg (180lb)
- Dark brown eyes
- Jet black hair, well maintained, short on the sides- longer on top
- Small “soul patch” under bottom lip
- High cheek bones
- Straight nose
- Rounded Chin
- Soft spoken and well mannered
