Police seek witnesses after break in at Royal Theatre

On Sept. 5, around 1:20 a.m., a break, enter and theft occurred at the Royal Theatre located at 1597 Bay Avenue, in Trail, according to Trail top cop, RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.
“The suspect(s) stole candy from the concession area, a flat screen television, and a laptop computer from the theatre,” he said. “Trail Detachment RCMP police officers with the assistance of the Nelson RCMP Forensic Identification Services are investigating this matter.
“Investigators would like to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or person(s) in the area of the Royal Theatre around the time of the offense or to anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of the television and lap top. Please contact the Trail RCMP Detachment at (250) 364-2566 if you have information to provide to the police regarding this crime.”
