Notice: Water main flushing and maintenance

Please be advised that the City of Castlegar will be performing routine water main maintenance and flushing east of Columbia Avenue from 27th Street to Blueberry for the next few weeks.
This will not create any water service interruptions to the water system and will not pose a health hazard.
City staff will try to minimize any inconvenience.
If cloudy or discoloured water is noticed, residents are advised to let your outdoor tap run for a fewminutes until it clears which should flush out any sediment. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.
