Two sightings of a ‘suspcious man’ have led police to encourage parents to discuss strager danger with their children, according to RCMP Acting Sgt. Devon Reid.

“On Feb. 3, Trail and Greater District RCMP received a report that on two occasions over the previous week, a suspicious looking male wearing all black was reported in the wooded area near Webster School in Warfield,” he said.

“The male did not make any attempt to communicate with anyone at the school, but his presence was unnerving to those who saw him. At this time, the male has not been identified and no offence has been committed. Police would like to remind parents to speak with their children about what steps to take if approached by a stranger.”
