On July 10, the owner reported the theft of a beige 2016 single-axle 17-foot Starcraft travel trailer, and a black 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle, to the Trail RCMP detachment.

The owner had been towing the trailer with his pickup truck, which broke down near the Paulson Summit on Highway 3 and was towed away for repairs, leaving the trailer and its contents, including the motorcycle, at the roadside.  When the owner returned to retrieve the trailer, it was missing.

The trailer was located by a member of the public and was retrieved, but most items of any value had been stolen from it.  The RCMP believe that the motorcycle was driven off and may still be in the area.  The motorcycle had a BC licence plate W73100.

Any witnesses to this incident or anyone who knows the whereabouts of the motorcycle are asked to contact the Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment at 250-364-2566.
