Genelle crash sends two to hospital

A two-vehicle MVI in Genelle this afternoon sent two people to hospital, according to Cpt. Grant Tyson of Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue.
Tyson said the call came in at 12:14 p.m., with crews arriving on scene at 12:20 p.m., to Hwy 22 and 12 Avenue.
One occupant had to be extracted using the Jaws of Life, and two people were transported to KBRH by BCAS.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by RCMP.
