On Monday, July 1, at 7:45 p.m., a frontline Trail and Greater District officer received a report of a man allegedly acting strangely on the hiking trail that connects Miral Heights to Sunningdale, in Trail, BC.

The man reportedly asked two hikers about the trail and for directions to Sunningdale. When the pair returned to the spot, the man was still there who again asked for directions to Sunningdale. Officers conducted a search of the area for the man after it was reported but did not locate him. The man was described as 40-year-old, 6’3, with balding, blonde hair, was shirtless and holding a faded red shirt, with black shorts, and orange Asics runner shoes.

Trail RCMP would like to check on the wellbeing of the man if identified or located. If you have any information about the identity or whereabouts of the man, please contact the Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment at 250-364-2566.
