UPDATE: Missing Trail man found safe

Trail and Greater District RCMP is requesting assistance from the public in locating Karel Bursik, 60 years, of Trail.
Bursik was reported missing on Oct. 22, 2024.
Police have investigated over the last week and attempted to locate Bursik, without success.
Bursik is known to hitchhike and visit Grand Forks, BC. Sometimes Bursik will use taxis to travel between cities. He may have also travel in and around Nakusp, BC.
Description:
- Caucasian,
- 6’0” tall,
- Grey hair and a pony tail,
- Usually well-dressed,
- No teeth.
He has a German accent, and likes to talk about war.
