Police seeking assistance from public to identify culprit

A brazen thief is reported to have stolen a tire from a vehicle parked at Glacier Honda , at 1602 Columbia Avenue in Castlegar. The Castlegar RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual shown in the photograph above, who may be the thief.
At approximately 3:57 PM on Saturday July 5, 2025, a person approached a parked Hyundai Sante Fe at Glacier Honda, and crouched by the rear passenger tire before walking away from the lot with the tire in hand — a 20″ Continental.
Anyone who has information, or can identify the suspect, is asked to please contact the Castlegar RCMP non-emergency line at 250-365-7721.
